I have not read the previous books in this story and I was not lost starting with this title. Shawn is a seasonal sous chef at the local saloon. He is about 4/5. First off..I wish a place like this exists. Then I can’t help falling into the family dynamic, that’s how real the characters are. Thanks A.M. Arthur, love your work.
